Art Education for Wausau & surrounding community for 50 years
The WVAA was formed in 1951 with the purpose of promoting the arts by bringing lectures, exhibits and workshops to the area.
The WVAA is a non-profit organization open to all interested professional and non-professional artists, crafts people, students, and patrons of the arts, as well as art enthusiasts.
We also raise money to further Art Education through scholarships and grants to area schools, organizations, and adults.
Monthly meetings
September - April -- Meetings held the third Thursday of each month in Medallion Room A - Aspirus Wausau Hospital
Meetings start at 6:30pm - with our monthly program at 7:00pm which includes a variety of speakers and art programs
