Art Wall at La Prima Deli

We will be next be changing the Art Wall at La Prima Deli on Tuesday, June 5, at 9:00-10:30 am. Artwork drop-off by 9:15 am. We will be having a summer theme for this time, and of course any artwork with food or drink- coffee and tea! The artwork will stay up for about 10 weeks, with a tentative change in artwork in late August. Guidelines
Rollie at La Prima Deli provides this space as a service to the WVAA members to display and sell their work, without a commission or percentage charged. All sales are taken care of by the La Prima Deli staff. They will notify you if a sale has been made. You can than collect your sales money (cash or check), and if you would like to replace the sold piece with a same sized piece that fits the theme, that is an option.
Please have the staff help you with hanging any replacements, as the wall is fragile and hanging new pieces is limited by existing nails and screws, which can be loose...
Any questions! Jan Pflieger at 715-675-7740 or jansriver@frontier.com or Lee Ann Schulz at 715-581-1484 or cheaphillwvaa@msn.com...and while you are there, check out the good food and drink La Prima has to eat in, or take home for later.

The Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP): The WVAA sponsors and coordinates the art exhibit and workshop for the Central Wisconsin Area. It is held at various tmes in the summer or fall of each year.

There are about 28 regional shows throughout WI that are sponsored by various art groups in the state. We are all under the auspices of UW Madison, where the State Show is held each year.

Anyone interested can go to wraawrap.com and click on the "workshop/show" link to print paperwork and/or see last year's entries and winners. Artists do not need to be members of WI Valley Art Assoc. or WI Regional Art Program to participate in the shows.
